Lindsay + Alexander / Apple Mountain Wedding

Lindsay and Alex booked me as their photographer over a year ago. We shot their engagement on a very cold wither day last year. That pretty much set the tone for their New Years Wedding. Saying it was cold on December 31st, 2013 in Bay City is an understatement. The actual temperature was 9F but when that wind blew it was it got a tad chillier and fun! I’m telling all this because I still can’t believe Lindsay braved the weather and was in a field with a beautiful bareback dress with just a shawl on. That is pretty amazing. She had put a lot of love and effort into this day and it really was something special I was a part of. Lindsay and her dad’s father and daughter dance might have gone viral by now, a surprise choreographed number that had the whole room on their feet. And to finish the year and start the new one a kiss at midnight of the Bride and Groom under a heavy confetti shower that left us covered from head to toe! A party to remember. A beautiful way to start a new life together.
